Quarantine Diaries: Day 10

Today was one of those ~rare~ days we ended up waking up in time for breakfast. We grabbed bagels, coffee, and juice, attended a few meetings, did some work, and then eventually got ready to picnic in Central Park!

We picked up goodies beforehand at Trader Joe's, and we stopped into "Angelina Bakery" on our way to pick up some mini cakes for a mini dessert!

We trekked through Broadway to get to Central Park, popped a squat, and dug IN to our food. I had a couscous salad, veggie chips, bits of garlic bread, and sparkling pink lemonade. Alex and Maya had various breads, crackers, and cheeses, as well as the lemonade. We people watched, chatted, and enjoyed the nice weather for the day!

Once our stomach's were satisfied, we walked further into Central Park, stopping by the Bethesda Terrace to snap some pics. This happens to be the location that Chuck and Blair got married on "Gossip Girl"...not that we're obsessed or anything.

The terrace ended up being the PERFECT place to both people watch and bird watch. The pigeons of NYC truly have character...whether we were tired or just out of it, we were absolutely MESMERIZED.

We once again traveled through Times Square to get home, shower, and crash. Our dinner was a complete mish mash of chips and salsa, fruit, gummy worms, and other snack foods that we had on hand. Not the best idea for the digestive system, but the best idea in our hearts.

We watched "MegaMind" and "Despicable Me 2" because they were on and cuz why not, and then CRASHED for the rest of the night.

Another slow, fun, perfect amount of pizazz day of quarantine!
