We're back!

I decided to combine the past two days into one, mainly because nothing very notable happened on Day 6. The only photo I have is of some simple pasta I made that night:

The evening consisted of McFlurry's, The Office, Friends, and TikTok again.

So onto Day 7!

There was rain on the forecast for the afternoon, so we wanted to be sure to get outside before then. We had a few errands we had to run, and they all happened to be near Maman, a coffee shop known for cute aesthetics, fancy pastries, and the best chocolate chip cookies.

The outside was covered with flowers and pastels, and the inside's more black and white theme gave an overall "shabby chic" vibe to the place. We all ordered yogurt parfaits, and Maya ordered a lavender hot chocolate, while Alex and I got iced mochas w/ oat milk.

The yogurt parfait was NEXT LEVEL good. The thick and creamy greek yogurt was paired with a smooth yet tart berry compote, layered with almond butter granola. It was both satiating and refreshing for a hot day. The mochas were just the right amount of sweet, chocolatey, and coffee-ey. Truly, an INCREDIBLE meal.

I mean...YUM.

We walked around for a while to pass time and fulfill errands, then headed back to our hotel to hang out.

We aren't sure WHY, but we were SUPER tired, so we literally spent the rest of the night hanging out, watching "Sydney White," chit-chatting, snacking on popcorn, etc. I also tried Maman's chocolate chip cookie that I picked up earlier that day...it was definitely good, but I have to say...mine are better;).
